Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account data: email address (never shown publicly), display name, optional profile photo, notification preferences.
• Purchase data: what you bought, amounts, taxes, and order status. Card details are handled by our payment provider (Stripe); Zemer never receives your full card number.
• Artist data: public profile information, releases, and revenue split settings. Identity, tax, and bank details are collected and stored by Stripe, not Zemer.
• Usage data: preview and full-play events used to show artists aggregate audience statistics, and security logs.

How we use it

To run the service, deliver purchases, pay artists, prevent fraud, send transactional emails (receipts, verification, security, payouts), and — only if you opt in — marketing emails, which you can unsubscribe from at any time.

Sharing

We share data with service providers that operate Zemer (payment processing, email delivery, hosting) and when required by law. Artists see aggregate audience statistics, not your identity or email.

Your choices

Update your profile and notification settings at any time, or delete your account from Account settings. Some financial records are retained in anonymized form as required for accounting and tax purposes.
